The Top Shopping Streets in South Beach

South Beach is a shopper’s paradise. In almost every corner of our beach neighborhood you’ll find designer boutiques, indie shops, and popular retail chains. These SoBe streets promise some of the best choices, no matter your budget. Here’s a rundown of SoBe’s top shopping streets, with highlights of each to give you a feel for the area.

Ocean Drive

Grab your credit card and indulge in some retail therapy along Ocean Drive. This iconic South Beach street is worthy of a stroll regardless of its shops. You’ll discover the Ocean Drive Gallery’s organic soft cotton clothing, Sabrina Crippa’s TAJ by Sabrina flagship store, a few Surf Style locations, and an inspiring dose of Miami fashion history like the Versace Mansion and 1920’s garb within the Art Deco Welcome Center and Museum. Visit our Ocean Drive Guide to Fashion to make sure you don’t miss a thing.

Lincoln Road

This historic shopping destination was once where SoBe’s elite would congregate for social events and luxury items back in the early 1900s. The street is still SoBe’s most visited shopping haven and home to the Lincoln Road Mall, an outdoor promenade where visitors can browse boutiques, popular clothing chains, swimwear, footwear, and contemporary art galleries.

Española Way

Española Way may lack a large variety of shops, but the few that made its home on the charming street are beloved Miami establishments. The Española Bar & Lounge Cigar Shop invites guests to stay a while to enjoy Carribean and southern influenced tapas and craft beer, wine, and cocktails paired with cigars and hookah. Smoke on the outside patio or intimate interior and grab a cigar to go. The White Cotton Club has an array of White Egyptian Cotton clothing like a Panama hat handmade in Ecuador, flowy beach dresses, and a Havana guayabera shirt. The guayabera shirt is said to have originated in Cuba, but has since become a Miami staple.

Collins Avenue

Starting at the southern tip of South Beach and extending north to Mid Beach, Collins Avenue has been a fashion mecca since the area was reshaped in the 80s. Small boutiques like Agua Dulce Bikini Store, Club Monaco, and The Webster have unique finds, while chains like Victoria’s Secret & PINK, Vans, Zara, and A|X Armani Exchange are always on trend. Visit the most fashionable stretch of the avenue between 5th Street and 16th Street.

Sunset Harbour Drive

This tiny nook on the northeast corner of SoBe is popular with the locals for its laid back vibe, stellar restaurants, and collection of boutique stores. Visit SHAN for swimwear, Eberjey for lingerie, and Beach Boutique for hand-picked designer pieces, urban-sport and evening wear, and timeless jewelry pieces.

Washington Avenue

After the City of Miami Beach decided to reactivate this popular street in 2018, small businesses are still moving in and setting up shop. Find special pieces at Soles shoe store, Trendy by tk, Golden Bar, Trist LLC, and Beatnix Miami Beach. As one of Miami Beach’s top picks for outrageous partywear, Beatnix is the place to find headpieces, go-go outfits, wigs, and accessories for a night on the town.
